Don’t reach out to any conclusions, just by reading the “Title”. It was a trip full of “M.J.” minus animals. Well planned in advance by one of our aides..(I think we over-believed his trip planning skills). Trains tickets booked. Sitting at “Comesum” at Old Delhi railway Station…rolling joints and gulping “Smirnoff” white rum at the same time. Arrived then the people of my last organisation…bubbling and cheering in joy and adventure. Train got delayed by 2 hours…yess..it gave us more time to increase our “blood-alcohol” concentration.
Amazing was the coupe allotted-cum-looted by us..eight sleeper seats, and that also in the last car of the train…so here we got our independence..smoking, singing, drinking, eating..(there were a couple of persons who were about to do something extra-ordinary…I will say “CHEAP”). Train journey was really nice…but after this awesome trip, we all were high on tempo that what will happen next?? And the shit happened. Going to Corbett and booking a 3-star hotel and that also 25kms away from the jungle…how stupid?? Lets hit the organizer hard.
First day was good, “office-goers” were sleeping, but we smokers wandered around the streets of the jungle.(still rolling and smoking at the same pace)..listening to the “man-eater” tiger stories, however we were so high that instead of getting scared we were thinking of rolling one for the Tiger also..and take him to the “Qualms of the calms”.
Came the night…again we enjoyed a lot…drank stomach full…and slept like “dead”..so our “office-goers” left us in that state and continued their safari to the jungle. I don’t know what they did..but I always know “what I have to do”. So we smoking triplets went to a silent place “Rolsy Nadi”. Such a great place..
This trip has required some ”over-sightedness”, which I don’t possess. Still I feel that a “TRIP”..should be like a trip. If we involve “activities of daily living/ societal talks” in that..there is no point in going anywhere.
Anyways..for me trip as good, new, refreshing and of course full of “BOOM-SHANKAR”.!!!
